Introduction to Sensor EngineeringLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Course unit code: TX00FB68

General information

Credits
3 ECTS

Objective

Knowledge and understanding:
The students will know the basic structure and its related physical theories of the sensors that for using in mechatronics fields.
They also will know the related components for using the sensors that to attach a micro controller, such as A/D convertor and amplifier.
To gain a deeper understanding of usage of the sensors, we do the hands-on exercises by using the Arduino device.

Skills:
The students are able to understand the basic features and its functions of the sensors.
They can acquire the specific data from the sensors by using the micro controller especially the Arduino device.
