Objective

Students are complementing their own professional competence with the course. The students become familiar with their own professional skills that are complementing or supporting their professional competence. The students are able to apply what they have learned into their own professional field.

Content

The course consists of content supporting and developing professional competence in the field of live performance engineering.

Qualifications

The participant of the course is familiar with live performance engineering in a variety of operating environments. They are familiar with the key safety regulations and policies. The participants have gained the basic knowledge and skills in operating the systems in the field.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Students know the specialist terminology and use it correctly. Students know the relevant safety practices. Students are able to find further information on the topics in question. Students can follow the given instructions in live projects.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Students are well versed in the relevant concepts and relevant fundamental knowledge. Students are safety-oriented and they are able to act independently in live projects. Students master the principles of technical planning and know how to apply them in practice.

Students use the relevant concepts and information sources systematically and effectively. Students are able to apply relevant fundamental knowledge in live projects. Students contribute to safe working practices and they are able to act independently and responsibly in the industry. Students master the principles of technical planning and know how to apply them in practice across the board.

Further information

The student and the supervisor agreed to complete studies at the conversations regarding the individual study path. More precise learning outcomes and assessment criteria are defined in each study unit. The course “Technical applications” can consist of, for example, in addition to advanced studies in the field, studies in mathematics or physics, as well as studies in software or information network.
