Documentary Storytelling Exercise ProjectLaajuus (5 ECTS)

Objective

The student knows theories and conventions of documentary film storytelling and can execute an fictive exercise production the uses documentary means of expression (a mockumentary). The student can write script for the exercise production in fiction screenplay format. The student can use his/her skills in production development and filming location practices in the exercise project. The student can plan and execute the shooting and lighting of the exercise film with light equipment. The student can plan and execute the sound recording of the exercise film with light equipment. The student can execute the sound design plan, editing and other post-production work of the exercise film. The student knows the basics of documentary film directing. The student can do research on a documentary subject and develop a small scale documentary script for documentary film project.
