Objective

Students learn the basic principles of copyrights, music publishing, distribution, songwriting copyrights and reporting of music productions to be able to protect their own rights.
The student becomes familiar with different types of forms of enterprise in music business, contractual usages in music business, professional activities, taxation procedure, social security system and proper bookkeeping, and the basic principles of copyright law. Students are familiar with reporting and contract practices in record production business.
Students understand the meaning and the regulations on advertising and marketing in music business and are familiar with essential marketing channels and scholarship systems in music business.
A student can recognize his/her core competencies and learns how to brand his/her image and how to make a marketing plan.
