Drawing and PaintingLaajuus (4 ECTS)

Objective

The student will be able to describe the 3-dimensional form and the space using valeurs and colours and using variously different drawing and painting materials and techniques. The student is able to express her/his own creative visions visually and later she/he is able to use creative visual thinking as a part of her/his professional designing process. The student adopts continuous sketching as a part of perception, exploring and thinking

Content

-to exercise knowledge, perception and visual skills by using different mediums and materials.
-to search and valuate one´s own visual expression.
-to advance the grammar of visual language by common critics and exhibition visitations.

The student has partially achieved the objectives of the course. She/he has passed the course assignments.

The student has achieved the objectives of the course. She/he has passed the course assignments and has a good understanding of the covered topics.
