Objective

Students are familiar with the different types of businesses and communities. Students commands project-specific production and budget planning relating to the business type of their choice. Students are familiar with the ethical, professional and legal foundations of business in the cultural field and knows how to apply their knowledge in the context of their chosen business type in their innovation studies.

Content

Finnish grant system, copyright legislation, law of contract, types of businesses and the field of culture as a business environment. The course includes a series of lectures that are linked with the business hatchery of innovation studies.

3) recognize the operational principles and key practices of business in creative industries

Students

1) participate actively in classes, study the course material carefully and demonstrate ability to apply what they have learned in the context of creative industries and business

2) knows the various forms of businesses and is capable of doing roduction and financial planning in the contexts of projects and businesses

3) know the professional and judicial fundamentals of business in creative industries and are able to apply them in the assigned tasks

Completing the course with a pass grade requires that a student has met the objectives of the course as defined in the course implementation.
