Objective

After completing the course the students have basic knowledge of human proportions, movement, and plasticity. The students understand and are able to depict the volume, proportions and details of a garment on a human body. The students are familiar with the basic rules when comparing three-dimensional observations and two-dimensional surfaces. The students master several drawing techniques and are trained to practice a persistent drawing process and self-evaluation.

Content

- Transposing a three-dimensional observation onto a two-dimensional basic surface by studying a live model,
- Human anatomy,
- Depicting clothes on a person,
- Different drawing techniques,
- Studying light and light value,
- Studies in model drawing and croquis drawing

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Satisfactory (1) The student has partially achieved the objectives of the course. She/he has passed the course assignments.

Good (3) The student has achieved the objectives of the course. She/he has passed the course assignments and has a good understanding of the covered topics.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Excellent (5) The student has achieved the objectives of the course. She/he has passed the course assignments and has an extensive understanding of the covered topics.
