Objective
The students are capable of professional discussions and to produce written outputs using the established concepts of the field of fashion and clothing. The students learn the meaning of design process, product concepts and teamwork as the starting point of the clothing industry. The students can perceive actions that anticipate the future in the clothing business. They are familiar with the social, technological, and financial interfaces that influence the fashion business. The students can apply the theory basis and models to practical processes and can use research methods to find information for their design processes.
Content
The students learn the fundamentals of the global operating environment and how the future is anticipated in the field of fashion and clothing. The students are informed of the various stages of the design process, scheduling, the risks of the field, product conceptualization and different roles in work teams.
