Objective

Students make preparations and plan their thesis project. Students apply their professional skills, take advantage of their networks and sources, and enrich their professional field with their practical-theoretical understanding.

Supervised work structured according to each student’s goals.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Students recognise how their thesis connects with their profession and its development. The work is completed in spite of deficiencies in the management process. Cooperation with various partners is satisfactory.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The thesis clearly develops a work related issue. The topic is innovative and the work is carried out appropriately. The planning and implementation is detailed and the student remains on schedule. Spontaneous and pro-active anticipation occurs. There is a natural relationship between co-instructor, student and professional life.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The thesis brings something new to the profession – an innovation or a new way of working. There is something exceptionally skilled and innovative in the way the thesis is carried out. The work may be multi-disciplinary. The planning and implementation of the work is coherent, convincing, pro-active and spontaneous when necessary. Active networking and training takes place, both inside and outside the thesis, enriching the whole process.
