Professional Interaction, Group Dynamics and LeadershipLaajuus (4 ECTS)

Objective

Students gain an understanding of their own role in a variety of different professional group situations and in workplace behaviour, as well as studying different operational processes. Students are aware of how to deal with different professional interactive situations.

Students solve problems and study the boundaries of interaction in the work of the musician and pedagogue with various challenging environments (e.g. leadership, diverse group work, initiating group creativity, cooperative learning etc.).

Content

- Work community interaction phenomena, leadership styles, group types and group dynamics.
- Personal job description and targets in relation to the workplace and professional development.
- The changing role of the creator and challenges facing the creative community.
- Development and learning from a collective point of view.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Evaluation focuses on course work, knowledge acquired by the end of the course and achievement of the course objectives.
