Objective

Student will understand the effects of the museum conditions: light, temperature and relative humidity. Student will be able to notice the damages of the museum objects. Student will understand the concept of the museum cleaning.
Student will understand the connection between the building and indoor climate.
Museum excursions: student will see the difference of the museums.

Content

Museum building management.
Measurements of the indoor conditions and measuring equipment. Pest management in museums.
Risk assessment of the museum: fire, break, persons, etc.
HPAC-techniques.
