Objective

Students can conceive a performance as a structure. Students understand the connection between the different elements of the performance and the use of the performance space.

Content

The course covers the basics of dramaturgy, their role in composing a performance, as well as new dramaturgical models and performance forms. The students learn how to compose performances for a variety of performance spaces and the effects of different seating configurations. The course includes lectures, practical assignments and meetings with guest experts.

Completing the course with a pass grade requires that a student has met the objectives of the course as defined in the course implementation.
