Objective

The student will understand how the European architecture, space utilization and interiors have developed and changed over the time periods. The student will be familiar with the most significant people on the field.

The student will be able to examine the development of architecture, space and interiors and the factors that have influenced them. The student will be able to identify a building, an interior or a space into its historical and social context.

Content

The history and the development of Western architecture, space and interiors from ancient times up till the modern day. Changes in architecture, styles and interior design and the persons and the circumstances as initiators of the development.
