Objective

Compulsory sound expression course in which students gain an understanding of the various aspects of sound postproduction. Students will learn to function as a part of a team to complete soundtracks according to timetable.

Content

Includes postproduction of sound for a fiction film. Students gain an advanced understanding of the full spectrum of sound postproduction: sound transfer, synchronisation, dialogue replacement, dialogue editing, foleys, effects, mixing and mastering.

Sound Basics, Introduction to cinematic expression, Fiction film development and production
