Objective
The student is able to produce a sounding score and accompaniment, by ear, based on harmony, and through reduction, expansion and transposal of the written score. They know how to practice in a purposeful and ergonomic manner, and are able to quickly learn and absorb musical contents in their work as a pedagogue.
The student can promote their students’ learning process by producing and expressing multivoiced and purposeful harmony in instrumental teaching and rehearsing situations.
The student knows how to implement various improvisation exercises, which entail interaction skills such as speed of reaction, power of observation and sense of time. By means of improvising students develop musical memory, speed of musical thinking, musical imagination, and sense of drama.
Content
Mapping of the needs. Production of accompaniment using the score, harmony signs, or by ear in various styles according to the student’s musical orientation whether the teaching goal is pop/jazz or classical music.
