Objective
After completing the studies, the student understands and knows how to apply learner-centered and supportive working methods of one-to-one tuition in their main instrument. They are capable of constructive interaction and goal-oriented teaching of music and instrumental technique. They can motivate the learner and support learning by means of planning repertoire and goal-directed pedagogical processes. They are able to choose and produce teaching material of appropriate level for their learner.
The student is able to reflect on their experiences of learning and teaching. They are able to give guiding and corrective feedback respecting their learner’s strengths and needs. The student is familiar with pedagogical networks and understands the significance of operating in networks.
Content
Tutoring in one-to-one tuition (two learners) and continuous reflection alone and in a group. Observation and guided reflection.
Location and time
Tuition of pedagogical and instrumental lectures is on Wednesday between 13-16. The exact times of lectures are announced in the workspace. Supervising teachers announce the times for teaching practice.
