Objective

The students know the role and significance of journalism in society. They know the fundamentals of journalistic work process. They understand the significance of constant monitoring of current events and news. They can make observations, produce ideas, acquire information and choose a point of view in journalistic work. They are familiar with the fundamentals of interview techniques. They can critically assess the the information material they access. They know how to organize complicated information into an accessible whole. They can refine story ideas, assess them and give feedback from the content. The students can estimate needed resources, compose a production plan and work as members of a team. The students are familiar with main features of network and social media. The students can produce and publish journalistic content in the net. The students know the principles relative to publishing sound, photographs and moving images in the net. The students are able to modify news content in accordance with different distribution modes.
