Objective

On completion of the course, the student will be able to take advantage of robots in automatic production and assembly. The student will be able to design products taking their automated manufacturability and assembly into account.

Content

1. The robot types and structures
2. Industrial applications of robots and robot systems
3. Robot grippers and tools
4. Sensors in robots and robotic systems
5. Programming and the use of robots
6. Robot safety
7. Product design from the automated manufacturability and assembly point of view.

Evaluation scale

0-5
