Objective

The student
- organizes, implements and develops the independent oral health care
- knows he radiation instructions of radiation safety and quality assurance of the panoramic tomography
- analyzes the oral health care needs of the patients at the hospital and institutions and is able to choose the intensified oral health care methods
- develops the competence of oral health care of the health care professionals in the hospital and institution environment

Content

Practical training of independent oral health care in a team at the Metropolia oral health care teaching clinic, and presentation of patent case at the seminar
Panoramic tomography and the basics of cone beam computed tomography
Practical training of oral health care in private clinics, in special health care, care of mentally disabled, special schools or rehabilitation for mental health.
