Descriptions
Bio- ja kemiantekniikan opinnoissa yhdistyvät luonnontieteelliset ja tekniikan alat. Insinööriltä edellytetään hyvää matemaattis-luonnontieteellistä osaamista, jota tutkinto-ohjelman opinnoissa kehitetään koko opiskelujen ajan. Tutkinto-ohjelmassa ensimmäisen vuoden opinnot ovat pakollisia ja yhteneväisiä kaikille tutkinto-ohjelman opiskelijoille. Ensimmäisen vuoden keväällä valitaan pääaine kolmesta vaihtoehdosta.
Pääaineet ovat:
- Bio- ja elintarviketekniikka
- Kemiantekniikka
- Materiaali- ja pinnoitetekniikka
Pääaineen lisäksi opiskelija valitsee oman mielenkiinnon ja tavoitteiden mukaisesti tutkintoonsa valinnaisen opintokokonaisuuden tai valinnaisia opintoja toisista tutkinto-ohjelmista. Valinnaiset opintokokonaisuudet tukevat laaja-alaisuutta ja varmistavat monipuolisuudellaan sen, että valmistuneilla insinööreillä on vankka soveltava ja ympäristöystävällinen ote alaansa.
Opintoihin kuuluu 20 viikon ohjattu työharjoittelu sekä viimeisen vuoden aikana tehtävä insinöörityö.
Development
Opetussuunnitelman toteutumisesta kerätään palautetta tutkinto-ohjelman neuvottelukunnalta, yhteistyöyrityksiltä sekä opiskelijoilta. Näiden palautteiden perusteella opetussuunnitelmaa ja toteutuksia kehitetään vuosittain.
