The Radiography and Radiotherapy degree programme qualify as evidence-based radiography and radiotherapy experts. Radiographers graduating from this degree programme practice evidence-based medicine. Lifelong learning, ethics, being able to contribute to the work community, innovativeness and international expertise are key aspects of radiographers’ work.

Occupational profiles of graduates with examples

Radiographers perform imaging examinations and administer radiotherapy in cooperation with other health care professionals. In radiology and radiotherapy units, the radiographer assumes joint responsibility for patient care. In companies that serve the health care sector, the radiographer's duties focus on product development, marketing and training. Radiographers may also work in expert positions concerning the use of radiation.
