Descriptions
The Cultural Management degree programme trains production personnel for cultural duties in private, public and third sector organisations and productions.
Students will learn about various cultural phenomena, cultural funding and financial management, marketing and public relations, legal issues, leadership and group skills, international matters, entrepreneurship, communications and media skills, production processes of cultural productions, cultural research methods and computer applications.
The studies consist of alternative and elective studies, practical training and a final project. Students have a personal study plan to help them deepen their studies in various production sectors and cultural fields.
Development
Kulttuurituotannon opetussuunnitelma on otettu käyttöön valtaosin nykyisessä muodossaan jo syksyllä 2006. Opetussuunnitelmaa on ehditty käsitellä lukuisia kertoja eri työelämäedustajien kanssa ja neuvottelukunnan jäsenten kanssa. Arvokkaan keskustelupanoksen ovat antaneet myös kulttuurituotannon aikuisopiskelijat, joista suurin osa on kulttuurialan vankkoja ammattilaisia ja näin ollen työelämäedustajiin verrattavia toimijoita. Opetussuunnitelma on osaamisperustainen.
