Objective

The objective is to learn the operating principles and services of copyright organizations and the basic aspects of contractual law. The objective is to know and apply permit regulations, insurance and public safety considerations related to event production.

The student will have a command of the basics of copyright provisions in addition to being familiar with ope rating principles of copyright organizations and being able to use their services. The student will be familiar with regulations concerning event production, restrictions on permit-based activities and factors concerning the ethic and ecological aspects of event production. The student will be able to prepare a safety and evacuation plan for events meant for the public.
