Objective
Students plan and implement individual and group therapy processes. Students assess factors contributing to the occupational performance and participation of clients and the group and adjust their own actions as required. Students assess individual clients’ occupation in groups and networks. They make use of assessment information in planning and instruction of occupational therapy. Students apply information in group situations and work in multidisciplinary teams. They adjust their own way of instructing and consultancy as required. Students document group processes. They make use of supervision and adjust their own way of instructing the group as required.
Content
• Clients in groups and social networks (family, recreational groups, therapy groups, friend groups, social media groups, etc.)
• Planning, observation and instruction of group situations
• Occupational forms
• Occupational analysis and synthesis
• Planning, implementation and documentation of occupational therapy processes
• Identification of interactive patterns
• Examination of one’s own professional growth and work as a therapist
Qualifications
Prerequisites:
Therapeutic occupation in self-care, instrumental activities of daily life and play or Therapeutic occupation in productive (study, work) and leisure activities

- The student is unconcerned about professional safety or ethical principles
- The student is not motivated by or participating in group or development work
