Descriptions
First year of studies is organised in themes as Orientation, Robots, Networks and Games to introduce the possible study paths for Information Technology. This enables a student to choose the most suitable study path for him/her. Mathematics, physics as well as computer science and language studies (Finnish and English) are integrated in the study themes. This aims to build a solid theoretical and technological base for professional studies. After 1st year of studies the student has adopted the basic competences in the theory of engineering, mathematics and physics to develop further her/his specialization in the field of ICT.
During the 2nd year students orientate themselves further to professional studies and fundamental theories which are required in professional specialization. These are offered in the four study paths:
- Software Engineering
- Communication Networks and Applications
- Mobile Solution
- Smart Systems.
The 3rd year will begin with a professional training to deepen the engineering skills and to gain experience in practical field of ICT. Training will follow with professional courses in selected specialization option to strengthen knowledge and professional indentity.
The final year of studies provide the final courses in specialization option as well as elective professional courses. The learning process will culminate in the Bachelor’s Thesis.

The curriculum was developed to target the needs of working life in the field of ICT both in Finland and internationally.
Description
You will learn how to design and implement HTML5 and native applications for mobile devices using same methods and tools as leading edge companies in the field. Main projects will done together with companies which provides an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your skills for potential employers.
