Finnish Conversation BasicLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

On completion of the course the student will be able to participate in simple conversations about familiar topics, to pronounce Finnish in a clear manner and understand the basic features of colloquial Finnish.

Content

Oral communication in everyday contexts: spending time with friends, leisure time activities, telling about one’s life. Features of colloquial Finnish. Vocabulary and pronunciation exercises are included. The course expands learning outside the class room.

The course contributes to Finnish for Foreigners 3 and is advised to take at the same time.
