Objective
o The Sustainable Procurement (SP) course is intended to guide learners in making decisions about purchasing of goods and services with a focus on improving financial, environmental, and social performance. SP is rooted in life-cycle cost and is a solid and tangible improvement in corporate financial performance and reputation. The content will entail all the key green procurement and sustainable procurement areas.
Content
o Students will apply the tools and techniques to develop a business case for:
? structuring an organization’s procurement process in the realm of financial, environmental and social responsibilities;
? creating a protocol for suppliers’ selection and performance; and
? determining a viable performance measurement tool for reporting.
