Objective
Students
- are able to apply their key theoretical and clinical competence of public health nursing required by the clinical practice environment
- are able to adopt a client-centered approach to maintaining and promoting public health nursing of clients and families
- can follow the ethical guidelines and principles of nursing and the ethical recommendations on public health nursing
- can work as responsible members of work groups and work communities
- can plan, implement and evaluate group work aiming to support parenthood and couple relationship and group maternity training for expecting couples
- can develop peer group activities enabling and supporting empowerment of parents
- can assume the expert role in group counselling
- are able to evaluate their competence and develop it further
