Objective

Students learn about the methods of process thinking, process modelling and process evaluation. They become familiar with quality thinking and principles of quality leadership as well as the content of core quality systems. After completion of the unit, students are able to develop practices based on continuous evaluation. Students broaden their knowledge in recognising client needs and mastering holistic client processes. They are able to lead change processes in the workplace practice policies.

Content

Process thinking, process description and leadership. Process management and development, methods of continuous evaluation. Quality management, core quality systems and their systematic use in development. Special features of client service processes and improving service processes. Data collection, evidence-based development. Team-oriented, multiprofessional approach to work and networks supporting leadership. Recognising client needs in welfare services and their mastery. Benchmarking in quality development.
