Objective
Students learn the theoretical basics of strategic planning and anticipation, their significance for development and leadership as well as achieving success. They are able to access evidence-based knowledge as a foundation for leadership and know how to plan and develop organisations. Students learn methods and means for strategic planning and implementation and become familiar with the different phases of strategic processes. Students are able to determine the content of chosen strategy based on the selected framework and draw up an implementation and evaluation plan for the strategy

Knowledge of anticipatory and future planning as well as its methods regarding strategic leadership. Principles and implementation process of strategic planning. Strategic choices, analyses, positioning and resources. Strategic tools and their use in practice. Strategic communication, implementation of strategies, methods of implementation into practice and related problems. Evaluation methods of strategic processes and strategic operations. Steering systems and norms in social and health care.
