Conceptual Product and Service DesignLaajuus (5 ECTS)

Objective

The student gets to know the principles, methods and concepts of concept design. The student will understand the benefits of concept design in the product and service development projects. The student can design and document a reasonable product and/or service concept and can present it literally, visually and orally.

Content

- Principles, concepts and methods of consept design
- Service ideas and concepts and understanding their contact points, evaluation and modelling
- Product process, service production process and conceptual workshop

The student has partially achieved the objectives of the course. She/he has passed the course assignments.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student has achieved the objectives of the course. She/he has passed the course assignments and has a good understanding of the covered topics.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student has achieved the objectives of the course. She/he has passed the course assignments and has an extensive understanding of the covered topics.
