Objective

Learning objectives:

The student will understand the professional field of an interior designer and the responsibilities of a building trade professional. The student will perceive design as a process and is able to design and draw a small-scale space plan that meets the aesthetic, qualitative and functional criteria. The student understands the interaction of light and space.

Core content:

-basic tools and terminology in interior design
-aesthetic, qualitative and functional requirements for a space
-basics of technical drawing; base, projections, carvings
-perceiving space and creating atmosphere through lights, colours, surfaces
