Objective

Students understand the meaning of English as a means of studying social services. Students are able to manage discussions, interviews and various presentations in English and use English in writing in various professional contexts.

Content

nteractional situations, health care and social services environment, procedures, instructions, phone calls, meetings, social situations.
Professional texts and terminology.
Work applications and interviews: educational background, work tasks.
Understanding scientific English, abstracts and summaries.
Documentation: reports, summaries, application papers and CV.
