Objective

Students become familiar with the sources of statistics and learn to utilise existing statistics in their work. Students learn to apply basic statistical mathematics and basics of survey techniques. Student are able to utilise these skills when working in the social field.

Content

Finding statistics from the Internet and utilising them. Statistical variables and scales. Basics of statistical mathematics. Presentation of statistical material using frequency tables and statistical parameters. Learning to draw up questionnaires. SPSS- Statistical package for the Social Sciences.
