Objective

Students understand the social policy strategies and future challenges in ageing society. Students become familiar with the service provision for older people. Students adapt the socio-pedagogical approach when working with older people as members of a multiprofessional team in various working environments.

Content

The role of older people in society, services for older people, working environments, the third age, active ageing, older people as resources in society, socio-cultural and multiprofessional collaboration in senior work.
