Objective
After completing the study unit, students are able to draw conclusions about the eyesight and possible problems in it by using various methods of measurements and assessments in a versatile way. They can suggest a spectacle correction, in which the test results and needs of vision as well as their link to the symptoms are considered. Students are capable of client-oriented communication in discussions about the vision, visual problems and eye care.
Content
Determining and offering solutions for binocular and accommodation problems, deciding a prism correction according to the Sheard and Percival criteria’s, utilising a spherical correction.
