Objective
After completing the study unit, students are able to collect all the necessary background information from patients or from other sources involved in the patient care. They can make an assessment of hyperopic refractive error by means of objective and subjective methods. Students know how to assess the amount of accommodation and convergence and consider it in the eye examination. They can assess the normality of pupil reactions, fixation and eye movements.
Content
Anamnesis, pre examinations and patient history, static retinoscopy, assessment of accommodation and convergence, subjective refraction of distance vision.
