Objective
The student knows about the chemical and physical characteristics of different non-metals used in dental technique. He/she can use them under instructions in basic dental technical work, in complete and partial prosthetics and as auxiliary materials in different work phases and methods. He can consider the hazards both to him-/herself and to the environment caused by dust, gases and odours arising from the materials. The student can handle waste materials in the correct way.
