Oral Health Care among People in Special Health CareLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

The student internalises his/her responsibility for promoting oral health and well-being of the patient in need of demanding treatment. S/he understands the connection between oral health and general health. S/he gains competence in collaborative oral health care to support patients in special health care. The student is able to help the mentally disabled and their significant others in relation to life control and oral health. S/he develops his/her collaborative expertise and is able to reflect on his/her learning.
