Objective
The students know the key legislation and guidelines on the medical use of radiation and they are capable of applying what they know into practice. The students will understand their responsibility in ensuring radiation protection. The students can determine the correct patient dose in basic x-ray examinations.
Content
Radiobiology. Radiation optimisation. Calculation and assessment of patient dose. Key national and international and legislation and guidelines on the medical use of radiation. Statistical mathematics concerning radiation protection.
