Clinical practice of the radiographic imagingLaajuus (7 ECTS)

Objective

The students have an ability to improve their professional radiography skills in a specialised medical care field of their choice: fluoroscopy, computed tomography, mammography, ultrasound or nuclear medicine examinations. The students will be able to work in a competent and professional manner in radiography and to deepen their expertise individually in specialised medical care examinations, procedures and treatments with different types of customer groups. The students are capable of multiprofessional work and they develop professional ethics.

Content

The students will choose content according to their individual study plans (ISPs) taking into account their objectives.

The students can carry out fluoroscopy, computed tomography, mammography, ultrasound or nuclear medicine examinations in a customer-oriented way in radiography operating environment. They can work in a radiation safe way in various radiography operating environments.
