Objective
The students will learn about anatomical terminology. They will understand the human structure and the basics of human function, and can understand the operation of different organ systems. The students will be familiar with the structure and operation of bones and joints. The students will learn to identify structures on a living person by palpating and to use their anatomy skills in basic x-ray examinations of the skeleton.
Content
Key anatomical terminology.
Cell, tissues, skin, blood.
The basic characteristics of the structure and operation of the circulatory, respiratory, lymphatic, digestive and urinary systems.
Structure and operation of hormonal and nervous system regulation.
Skeletal development, structure and operation of fully grown bones and various joint types. -Bones and joints of the head, trunk and limbs.
