Objective

Studies in this unit lead to deeper understanding and command of essential features of psychological development of humans and to an awareness of psychological factors relating to health behavior. This knowledge will be applied in diverse therapeutic relationships. Furthermore, studies lead to competence in supporting individual and family resources and use of counseling. The framework of clinical psychology will be applied to assessment of mental well being, mental problems and forms of psychotherapy. Studies lead to increased ablitiy to reflect on one's own behavior and to recognition of psychological factors relating to a therapeutic relationship.
