Objective

On completion of the course the student will know the different types of contract and implementations of building projects. The student will be familiar with the contents of the general conditions of contract and the terms of contract in consultancy. The student will be familiar with the responsibilities of the commissioner and the contractor, as well as their duties on a site. The student will be able to choose a suitable contract type for an ordinary building project. The student will be able to use different contracts on a building site and is able to participate in creating contracts and contract negotiations.
