Development
Opetussuunnitelma 2012 on tehty yhteistyössä 2011 toimikautensa lopettaneen talotekniikan neuvottelukunnan knassa. Opetussuunnitelmaa on käsitelty kokouksissa 110822 sekä 111128. Suurimpana muutoksena aikaisempaan on arviointikriteerien lisääminen opintojaksoille sekä osaamisperustaisuuden huomioiminen opintojaksokuvauksissa.
Ympäristöministeriön tavoitteena on uudistaa rakentamismääräyskokoelma A2 kevään 2012 kuluessa. Uudistustyön tuloksena talotekniikan suunnittelijoiden koulutukselliset pätevyysvaatimukset tulevat muuttumaan. Asetus on tulossa lausunnolle.Uusien määräysten vaatimat muutokset opetusuunnitelmaan tehdään, kun uudet vaatimukset koulutukselle ovat tiedossa.
Työelämäyhteistyötä tehdään parhaillaan uuden koulutusrakenteen vaatimuksia vastaavan opetussuunnitelman 2014 kompetenssien kartoittamiseksi. Työssä on mukana talotekniikan neuvottelukunnan lisäksi tarkoitusta varten koottu tulevaisuustyöryhmä, jossa on mukana alan keskeisiä vaikuttajia.Kompetenssien kartoitusvaihe on suunniteltu saatavan valmiiksi kevätlukukauden 2012 kuluessa. Neuvottelukunnan ja muiden sidosryhmien asiantuntemusta tullaan hyödyntämään kiinteänä osana opetussuunnitelman laatimisprosessissa jatkossa.
