General information

Credits
3 ECTS

Objective

The student will be familiar with the major quantities in lighting engineering, qualities of light sources, and methods of measurement and calculus. The student will also be familiar with the characteristics and parts of light fittings, and the technical regulations and standards governing the selection of lighting solutions. Furthermore, the student will be familiar with energy saving lighting solutions. The student will even be familiar with factors that have an effect on seeing.

The student will be able to design the lighting for different spaces taking into account both the aspects of seeing and comfort as well as the technical and economic questions.

Content
