Objective

The student will be able to draw up a project plan and to manage a project. The student will be able to cooperate and network with people from diverse fields. The student will be able to communicate appropriately with various interest groups and be familiar with the demands of communication in projects as well as be trained in his or her co-operational skills.

The student’s field-specific expertise will deepen and the student will be able to assess his or her competencies as part of the project. The student will be trained to acquire and adapt information originating from various sources as well as to compare previous information to and assess in light of the newly acquired. The student will be trained to see and observe the objectives of all the parties. The student will get to know and understand the practices and actors of different fields.

The student will understand the character of innovation processes and is familiar with the process of creative problem solving. The student will be able to argue in favour of his or her choices and opinions as part of a cooperative project.

The student recognises and manages his or her competencies and develops them together with experts from diverse fields. A culture of negotiations is created to enable all the parties – students, teachers, parties from the working life and clients – to participate in the development process and decision making in cooperation, ethically and with responsibility.

Collective and expansive learning and expertise as well as working in agreement and commitment are understood. Practical and creative solutions, methods and services that are beneficial for the local development, and / or international development possibilities are developed. Project, network and Internet-based proceedings in development activities are mastered.

Qualifications

The participants in the collecting project are teachers of various fields, students and also parties from outside the university of applied sciences. The course offers a close and two-way contact to the working life and a vantage point to the future profession with its development tasks and challenges. The module combines the educating and local development tasks of the university of applied sciences.
