Objective

On completion of the course the student is expected to be able to
– explain the meaning of construction for society
– list the branches of construction and explain their shares
– list the parties in a construction project
– list the stages of a construction project
– explain the main content of each stage
– explain the roles of the user, planner, contractor, public authority, machine and equipment supplier
