Objective

After completion of this course the student will know the design flow of Digital Inregared Circuits and can compared Digital Integarted Circuits to FPGA-devices. The student also knows when it is beneficial to use Digital Integated Circuits.

After completion of this course the student will be able to design and implement combinational and sequential logic with digital integrated circuits.

Content

The theory part familiarizes you to the relevant parts of the Digital Integrated Circuit design. Focus is in VHDL design in a multi person project. In practical part sub-blocks of devices are written with VHDL hardware description language.

The Digital Integrated Circuit design from synthesis onward. Demanding sub-blocks of devices are written with VHDL hardware description language.
