Objective
This course gives to student the most important knowledge about electricity,
electromagnetic induction.
Content
Electrostatic field (electric charge, Coulomb’s law, electric field, resistive and
conductive materials, electric forces, potential and voltage, capacitance and
capacitors, capacitors in series and in parallel, capacitive sensors)
Direct-current circuits (current and resistivity, Ohm’s law, energy and power
in electric circuits, Kirchoff’s rules, resistors in series and in parallel, resistive
sensors, measurement of voltage and current, electrical measuring instruments)
Magnetic field (a particle in the magnetic field, Hall effect, charged particle
moving in the magnetic field, magnetic forces, force and torque on a current
loop in the magnetic field, electric motors, magnetic field of the solenoid.)
Induction (Magnetic flux Faraday’s law, Lentz’s law, generator, Eddy currents,
induction, self inductance, mutual induction, transformers.)
